You are on the money with this! It's amazing how many people get trapped thinking high intensity workouts if they keep doing them are the key to keeping fit and healthy! In short bursts they are brilliant, but beyond that like everything they become a hindrance. Have a friend who I keep trying to implore to pullback on the calorie counting and start focusing more on getting more rest and weightlifting, but he is adamant that that is the wrong path and yet he's been plateauing for ages! So easy to get trapped in that mindset! Great to hear you found a way out of it! Thanks for sharing, Corrie, think I'm going to show him this!
