They are not looking offline per se, they are hoping to meet a romantic match in the real world the old-fashioned way because they don't like dating apps-that's what the evidence shows anyhow. But because men are far less likely to approach women in the real world the old-fashioned way when it comes to dating, for obvious reasons, inevitably, because women are shunning dating apps, many women are in effect remaining single simply because they are not able to meet anyone. This in effect leaves men by default single also.

Basically, the dating scene is messed up because there are too many men and women who are unable to connect with each other because they can't find an environment that suits both to connect. The solution comes from creating environments that better bring men and women together.
