The world of dating is certainly equally as difficult for women as it is for men these days-but as ever from the opposite side of the coin. I always put it down to us being a transitional generation, we are still trapped between the old way and a new way that we have not yet worked out what is. Because we haven't yet worked out the new way, or left the old way behind – how can we, if we still haven't worked out the new way – we are trapped in a chaotic mess where the majority are like as you say, like fish in trees.

Hopefully in time it will change, though I'm certain that social skills, teaching them to everyone from a young age would make a big difference. I often write about the problems of the lack of social skills in so many these days, and how teaching them to people from a young age could help address a lot of problems of the modern world, especially on the dating scene. I think I've seen you mention the lack of social skills being a big problem a few times as well.
