The sex world is certainly a brutal and cutthroat world for women, that's for sure. That's why the vast majority of women who try sex work of any kind, immediately give up after their first try of it.

Perhaps if the stigma around sex work was removed, it would be better for women in the industry. After all, if the stigma was removed, the long-term effects of being in sex work for women would not be so high.

I know this is why a friend of mine from university was so obsessed with keeping her identity hidden, and why she was happy to do escorting, but nothing else. As an escort, she could keep her identity hidden, but with videos, you can't do that – especially not these days.
