Something that I have learnt from my own research and experience, is a person can be highly skilled at something, for example, they could be a brilliant electrician, a brilliant scientist, a brilliant driver, a brilliant politician, but just because they are it doesn't mean they are remotely intelligent, it just means that they are highly skilled in one field.

Intellect is another thing. A person could have a crazy high intellect yet be not remotely intelligent. For example, the amount of people I have met who have a high IQ yet who are clueless when it comes to succeeding at anything is ridiculous. Frequently we mistakenly attribute intelligence to a high IQ and the ability to succeed in a field which is simply a mistake, as both mean nothing other than a person is skilled in one area i.e. an IQ test or their field of operation or perhaps both.

For example, take a great footballer, we may call a footballer a highly intelligent footballer, but we would never call them a highly intelligent person just because they are a great footballer. Yet we do this with many other fields which is simply a mistake because it's not the truth.

From my experience those who have true intelligence and so are the most successful overall, including in succeeding in feeling fulfilled and happy, as well as being the most innovative and creative in thinking, tend to have many if not all these twelve traits to various degrees. They have them because these traits tend to be the key to overall and lasting success, so it's intelligent to have them and strive to have them.

But of course intelligence is a highly subjective thing and people will likely argue to the ends of time over what constitutes intelligence and what does not.

Anyhow, thanks for your response and for reading! Much appreciated :-)
