Fascinating piece as ever, Elicia. I know a few guys with kids who want a divorce but are not pursuing one because they don't want to lose access to the kids, I also know a guy whose wife divorced him and he is desperate to see his kids more, but she won't allow it.

So yeah, it is indisputable we still have a good way to go for there to be true equality across the whole of society, and one of the big dilemmas we have is how to answer the child and finance question when it comes to divorce. The problem is it is such a tough question to answer – especially the child one.

Change is needed though, what that change is and how we make it is another question entirely!
