Excellent post, Elicia, absolutely on the money. It really annoys me how people have started persecuting age gaps, it is nothing short of straight up discrimination and hate. It needs to stop.

A friend of mine who is 31 started dating a 23-year-old, everyone started calling him a paedophile and started saying she had daddy issues. Really annoyed me, especially considering how such behaviour has become popularised. The worst one was a female friend of mine, she was 40, she started dating a guy who was 29, again, grave snatcher, paedophile.

This form of discrimination in my view should be treated the same as sexism, and homophobia, people should be prosecuted for hate crimes if they partake in it. Just my view.
