Bravely written, thanks for sharing, Ira! We still have a bad habit of forgetting that women can be abusers mainly because so few men talk about the fact that they suffer abuse at the hands of women.

All humans have the potential within them to be aggressive, it's not specific to males, and whereas the majority of people are in control of their emotions to the point where they are predominantly kind and caring people who would never resort to violence, a minority simply choose not to be in control and that minority doesn't have a gender.
